This Fall, I documented the tarot reading community. The documentary series focused on two subjects, named Sandy and Bella, who were both brought up Catholic in Irish-American families, but born into different generations.

By clicking on the image above, you can view the documentary site, complete with audio interviews with my subjects.

I have worked as the Co-Director of Raíz Magazine, the only bilingual publication at Emerson College. Here, I have directed editorials and shot my own, sometimes to accompany my own personal essays. The majority of work I have shot for the publication was done digitally, though one editorial was shot entirely on 35 mm film. To the left is the most recent editorial I shot and directed, called “Music is Contagious.” The issue focused on finding positive things to attach to the word “contagious” amid the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Music is a major part of Latiné culture, so I aimed to depict music bringing people together in the city, during a time when everyone had to keep apart. Linked on the image, you’ll find our recent editions–I served as director on editions 6-8.

During my sophomore year at Emerson, I also worked as a photographer for YourMagazine.

Here’s one example, a portrait for an article about ageism in the beauty industry. You can find the issues linked on the images.
